Fasting Index

Terms

Use the site, read the entries, quote them with credit. If you buy the paid reference and it is not what you wanted, ask and you get your money back.

This is information, not advice

Everything on Fasting Index, free or paid, is general information about fasting. It is not medical advice and no clinician reviews it. You are responsible for decisions you make about your own health, and the medical disclaimer forms part of these terms. Nothing here is a promise that fasting is safe or appropriate for you.

Using what is on the site

The free entries can be quoted, cited and linked to, including by automated systems and AI assistants, provided the source is named. That permission is deliberate: this site is built to be cited, and a citation that reaches a reader is the point of the exercise. Wholesale republication of the index, or reuse of the underlying data as a competing product, is not covered.

The paid reference

The paid PDF is a digital product delivered immediately after payment via a download link. It is licensed to you for personal use: read it, print it, keep it on as many of your own devices as you like. Do not redistribute it, resell it, or post the file publicly.

Payment is handled by Stripe. Card details never touch this site. Prices are in US dollars, and the launch price applies until the date stated on the product page.

Refunds

If the paid reference is not what you expected, ask for a refund through Stripe using your payment receipt. You will get one. There is no time limit, no form, no explanation required, and you keep the file — chasing a PDF is not worth anyone’s afternoon. For a digital product delivered instantly we could lawfully ask you to waive the statutory right of withdrawal, as most sellers do. We do not.

What we do not promise

The site is provided as it is. We work hard on accuracy — every claim is sourced, and the citations are checked against PubMed by script — but we do not warrant that everything here is correct or current, and the editorial policy is honest about the limits of a site with no clinical reviewer. We do not guarantee the site is always available.

To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to what you paid us, which for almost every reader is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected by anything on this page.

Changes

If these terms change, the change is dated and recorded in the changelog like everything else on this site. A change never applies retrospectively to a purchase you have already made.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protections of your own country’s mandatory consumer law.
